Pre - School

When staff think children are ready, they will transition into the preschool room – This can be between 3 to 3.5 years. This room is not a substitute for a reception class; more an alternative as this follows our bespoke curriculum. We want children to develop their thinking, concentrating and listening skills so we follow a structured timetable which offers play and learning opportunities. The focused stations offer chances in greater depth for creating, writing, maths and fine motor skills.  Developing communication and language is absolutely essential in this room and staff are trained to encourage constant conversation amongst them and the children. The preschool room is designed to get your children 'school ready' with play at the heart of learning.
