Our Rooms
Our Nursery consists of 4 learning and play environments: Seedlings, Shoots, Sprouts and Sunflowers, which are split by age and the Hive which is a space for all children. These rooms allow the children to progress as they grow. Each room is carefully designed and tailored to the needs of children with age appropriate resources. We offer a mixture of child led learning stations and adult led activities to give the children opportunities for independence and communication.
Outdoor Space
Bee's Knees Nursery also hosts a lovely outdoor provision, which we will use as much as possible. Our Garden has a variety of equipment inclusive of: slides, a mud kitchen, water play and toys to keep our children active. We will offer children two opportunities to be outside (if here for a full day). These sessions are over an hour and if the weather permits, we will try to be outside for longer. Being in our outdoor provision encourages physical fitness and providing space to: run, jump, skip, climb and to develop gross motor skills also instills a calmer indoor environment.
